Abstract:

In the recent practice of analysis of signals obtained through surface irregularities measurements the principle of Fourier transformation is widely used. Because in various metrological applications the method of wavelet transform is successfully applied, the efforts aiming application of this method to evaluation of profiles of geometrical surface structure have been taken. In the framework of research
activities at the Kielce University of Technology software allowing measuring signals decomposition and reconstructtion using Haar wavelets has been developed. The paper describes main software capabilities in the area of filtration of analyzed signals.
