Abstract:

This paper concerns a salient pole synchronous generator with 10 damping bars, and presents the distribution of self- and mutual inductances in the stator natural reference frame abc, as well as in the rotor reference frame dq0 versus the electrical rotor position angle. It shows the influence of higher harmonic contents of the self- and mutual stator inductance distributions for linear and nonlinear circuital model on the inductance distribution in dq0-axes.
