Abstract:

The paper describes a simulation application for the process of evacuating people from a building in the event of a fire. This simulation was developed as an agent system using the DEVS formalism. The following sections show the design and implementation of such a system using the Adevs library. A series of simulation tests were then performed for different simulation scenarios.
