Abstract: The actual problem of improving the organization of the management process in medical institutions of the country on the example of development and implementation of automation of documentation in the hospital is considered. Functional requirements are established and the general architecture of information system is offered. Software is developed to collect, store, update, transmit and optimize medical information, which provides an opportunity to improve the efficiency of work with documentation in accordance with the requirements. The software consists of components that provide the functional requirements for creating a single information space. There are conditions for further automation of activities in the hospital. The possibility of conducting statistical surveys is provided. The process of introduction of information technologies is considered. It is noted that the use of information systems and software requires significant revision.
